The Gulf of Suez Wind Farm II, located in the Gulf of El Zayt along the banks of the Gulf of Suez, is the largest wind farm in Africa boasting a power generation capacity of 654 MW It consists of a total of 104 units, including 20 wind turbines with a capacity of 75 MW each, the largest onshore wind turbine in the world

The electricity generated will be equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 11 million Egyptian households, reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 145 million tons, and will be sold to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company for 25 years
