カジノオンライン ("Toyota Tsusho") announced today that it andEurus Energy Holdings Corporation("Eurus Energy"), a group company, will commence the green ウォーカーヒルカジノ project "Soya Green ウォーカーヒルカジノ I (tentative name)" (the "Project") in Wakkanai City, Hokkaido, utilizing renewable energy derived from wind power generationIn the Project, a ウォーカーヒルカジノ will be constructed adjacent to the Kabaoka Wind Farm ("Kabaoka WF"), which is operated by the Eurus Energy Group in the same city, and will be supplied with "pure green power"* directly connected to the wind power plant This will be the first ウォーカーヒルカジノ in Japan to receive pure green power supplied directly from a wind power plant*"Pure green power" refers to green electricity transmitted directly from a wind power plant via a private power line, rather than electricity supplied through the grid of a general transmission and distribution utility or electricity combined with non-fossil certificates or similar mechanisms

Background
- A challenge in the Soya region with high renewable energy potentialThe Toyota ウォーカーヒルカジノ Group currently operates ten wind power plants in the Soya region, with a total capacity of 5255 MW The Soya region is one of Japan’s leading areas for wind power generation, possessing favorable wind conditions and exceptionally high renewable energy potential, but faces the challenges of insufficient local electricity demand and limited transmission grid capacity for wind power plant development- The need for renewable energy and decentralization of ウォーカーヒルカジノ power consumptionGlobally, the rapid advancement of AI technologies is driving a further surge in electricity demand from data centers As the importance grows of “Watt–Bit Coordination,” which seeks to optimize power (watts) and data processing and communications (bits) in an integrated manner, expectations are rising ever higher for renewable energy sources that do not emit greenhouse gases (GHGs) as the power supply supporting this integrationAt present in Japan, many data centers are concentrated in urban areas such as Tokyo and Osaka, and this concentration has been identified as an issue in terms of uneven power loads as well as business continuity (BCP) in the event of disastersAgainst this backdrop, the two companies will commence a ウォーカーヒルカジノ business in the Soya region to help reduce the burden on transmission networks, expand the adoption of renewable energy, promote local production and local consumption of energy, and further contribute to the regional decentralization of data centers, thereby creating new value for energy and digital infrastructure in the region
Overview of the Project
Under the Project, a ウォーカーヒルカジノ with a power receiving capacity of approximately 3 MW will be developed on a 9,900 m2site adjacent to the Kabaoka WF, and pure green power will be supplied directly via a privately owned transmission line Toyota Tsusho will provide ウォーカーヒルカジノ services, offering environments for housing servers and network equipment tailored to customer needs Eurus Energy will be responsible for preparing the land and buildings and for supplying the pure green power To ensure stable supply of 100% renewable energy and realize an environmentally low-impact ウォーカーヒルカジノ, a mechanism will be put in place to procure additional renewable energy–derived electricity in the event that power supplied from the wind farm is insufficient
Construction is scheduled to commence in April 2026, with full-scale operations targeted for 2027 Over the medium to long term, the companies plan to consider a next-phase ウォーカーヒルカジノ project with a capacity of 10–20 MW around 2030, and in the future also to advance consideration of the development of a large-scale ウォーカーヒルカジノ cluster areaThrough this Project, the Toyota Tsusho Group aims to further promote the widespread adoption of renewable energy and strengthen digital infrastructure, thereby contributing to the national initiative to advance Watt–Bit Integration”
